Over the years, the primary beneficiary of the Zinzi Christmas Party has been Saint Ann's Infant & Maternity Home, and one other charity, such as the American Cancer Society for example. Usually, the proceeds are split equally between the two; however, for the 2001 party, the bulk of the proceeds went to the Pentagon Assistance Fund.

The Pentagon Assistance Fund (PAF) was established by the Department of the Navy to provide financial assistance to the families of naval personnel killed during the September 11th terrorist attack on the Pentagon. Primary emphasis is given to ensuring that, as their needs require, all dependent children and spouses will have the opportunity to complete their college education.

Having raised a record $27,000, of which $20,000 was donated to the PAF, in 2002 the Zinzi Christmas Party not only returned to its original focus of raising money for St. Ann's, but also made Children's National Medical Center (Children's Hospital) the permanent second charity.

Some of the proceeds from ZCP 2005 allowed us to make a sizeable donation to the Bush-Clinton Katrina Fund, and in 2006 we named Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital as a third charity.

The main fundraising objective for the Zinzi Christmas Party is to always beat the previous year's mark, and as history has shown, with your help we should be able to achieve it without a doubt.
